Radial arm drill presses are designed for drilling and boring large holes in hard to reach areas as well as countersinking and grinding. The head of the radial drill can be moved, height adjusted and rotated. The spindle can withstand heavy duty operations.
Geared head drive systems are similar to step pulleys, but are driven by a geared transmission. They offer rapid speed changes by turning a hand dial.
Three-phase refers to three individual lines (coils) that connect to and run voltage through the motor. Each line alternates in a sequence as they reach their voltage peak. They provide a more stable flow of voltage and more horsepower to the equipment.
