WXS is a nano-coating that yields higher hardness and oxidation temperature versus TiAlN. It is designed for maximum heat resistance in hardened steel over 50HRC and nickel-based alloy. WXS is a proprietary coating exclusive to OSG Tap and Die, Inc.
Spiral flutes are constructed of a higher flute angle to remove chips easier.
